If git is ~15 years old, what is the original VCS likely to be for this?
- zaphar 8y agoProbably, nothing or maybe RCS. It looks like the history was "reconstructed" from time stamps on the file system so no VCS is a strong possibility.
- jhayward 8y agoBell Labs was using source control in the 1970's. SCCS was common in System V unix.
- jhayward 8y agoIf it was during the Bell Labs days it would likely have been SCCS.
