- twic 8y agoIn a discussion of the economics of a far future spacefaring human civilization, someone once suggested diatomaceous earth as one of the few raw materials that might be exported from Earth, since it might well not occur anywhere else!
- jpindar 8y agoEspecially since diatomaceous earth is good for preventing infestations of insect-sized organisms without depending on the biochemistry of those organisms.
