I leave my dogs in the car all the time. They're in the shade with great ventilation. They're unstressed and content in a space they consider home.
People freak out when a dog is contentedly sitting in a car on a 60F day. Don't be one of those people.
- nathancahill 8y agoI get that, and I'd leave my pups in the car in that situation too. I didn't mean to speak in absolutes. But shade moves during the day, and people underestimate how quickly cars heat up. High temps are not just a problem in LA/Phoenix. Most of the US can reach 80-90+ during the summer, and a lot of places aren't safe enough to leave the windows more than cracked.
