That was close to five years ago and venmo has added major features and a lot of new users in the intervening years. Moreover the paypal brand isn't what it used to be especially among venmo's core demographics.
- pishpash 8y agoWhat major features have been added? On the contrary, I see them retiring the web portal and going mobile only. One day somebody is going to make the easy decision of migrating all the users to PayPal and cutting out the redundant work. Or maybe they'll simply brand PayPal mobile "Venmo", the effect being the same.
- bbatha 8y agoVenmo card and fast withdrawals have been added in the last 6 months.
