The very first line in the article:
"Tesla Inc. TSLA -2.08% has asked some suppliers to refund a portion of what the electric-car company has spent previously, ..."
That is a refund, you can't explain it any other way.
- pyre 8y agoThat's what the article is claiming, but not what Tesla is confirmed though, which is what this thread started with. Tesla's statement says no such thing.
