It’s an interesting idea, and at the same time strange that some of the companies listed (eg facebook) would be open to contributing to this... esp given that for them data is their business model.
- CraigRood 8y agoI don't think It's strange at all, if anything it gives them access to data they wouldn't have otherwise.
- dyarosla 8y agoBut also shares THEIR data they’ve collected with competing companies for free. Not to mention potentially lowering switching costs for users looking to move away from their platform.
