Ehm, the Wikipedia article you link to for Tuberculosis directly contradicts your statement. Some quotes from that very page:
"Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease usually caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB)."
"Treatment of TB uses antibiotics to kill the bacteria."
