I agree with your point but I also want to point out that if you think about the ratio of money you spend on franchise movies vs. other movies, even the people that like to complain (not accusing you of complaining) are often at fault. I know personally that I see just about every Marvel movie in theaters, but for any no-big-name movie, I wait until I can see it on Netflix or just never see it at all. I cannot complain without being a hypocrite.
