To be clear: when they say paid, it would be a license to install Android as the OEM, not the end user directly paying for Android.
- AndrewKemendo 8y agoAnd then what happens when a new upgrade comes through? It's just a one time OEM installation cost for eg Samsung etc...? Your carrier going to bill you for the update? The costs would get passed to the consumer no matter what though.
