So it is your belief that whales and birds and all other animals were created by humans? And if so, then why would a human not be able to create an AI that is capable of creating information?

I think they were created by God. God is a meta-intelligence, an intelligent being that can create other intelligent beings. Our intelligence is only capable of creating mechanical beings, which are necessarily not intelligent. The second question does not follow. If intelligence is defined by the ability to do something non-algorithmic (i.e. create information), then AI can never be intelligent.
