I was introduced to Lisp in my CS320 Programming Languages class and fell in love. The sad thing is I've never really used it in any "productive" way. Never for a freelance gig, and absolutely never in my job as a web developer. That being said, I have learned to appreciate languages that I don't necessarily use to directly make money. I've learned a lot of programming concepts from Lisp that will be with me forever. Thinking about problems in a functional way has been beneficial to a lot of my work.
