So Musk is a closet Tea Party supporting, Trump tooting socialist, ahem liar.
Is that really a surprise, given how he's blamed the press for reporting facts on Tesla's financials, or his proclivity to insert himself in the limelight (like Thailand cave rescue) when he has real work to do.
He's a distractor in Chief, and his rants on climate change are just a showpiece, an means to an end of raising more capital for Tesla.
- Nokinside 8y agoI think it's unfair to characterize him as one thing or another. Being overly negative is part of the same star worship culture as being always positive. On the positive side. Tesla has made a revolutionary 'skateboard' (the electric + driving part of the car) and SpaceX is revolution is lifting technology. He has been also phenomenal marketing guy. On the negative side, He has fumbling in the mass market car parts and it seems that he has become worrying distracted+stressed. He starts feuds and fucks up basic PR for no reason. It should not be surprising that he buys politicians just like everyone else. He is not your friend.
