Beethoven, Einstein, Gates, Jobs. etc, all put in the grueling hard boring hours doing the things that weren't fun. They did what they were good and successful at, which when you become an expert at becomes very fulfilling. There's a guy at our Home Depot who might be the best Home Depot salesman in the country. Just fun to be around, great with customer service, knows everything about the store, and always training new employees, and honestly seems to enjoy his job. But I doubt he was thrilled when on his first day he was sweeping the floors after close.
