"Find your passion" breaks down when we assume that every passion should pay our bills. Sometimes a job is just a job and our passions can be pursued because we are willing to put in 40 hours plus. Some passions do pay but don't pay enough to support yourself. This is the nature of life and the economy as it is. For example, working as an IT Engineer is not my first passion but it pays a salary adequate enough for me to provide a comfortable life for myself and my family. If my mountain biking skills were such that they would pay me six figures a year to ride a bike then I could say that I wouldn't have to work a day in my life
