Cititation needed for myself, but most of current plastic straws, even if they don’t look it, are recyclable.
- ctrl-j 8y agoThey absolutely are not recyclable[0] [1]. Almost all curbside programs and most commercial programs will treat straws as "contaminants". Plus they have additional problem of causing significant wildlife impact. - ceejayoz 8y agoWaste Management doesn't accept them, at least not here in Rochester NY. I checked.
