I get the point. However I also really enjoy it when a fellow developer makes the time to get their point across in a friendly, compassionate tone. I see that rants tend to be the way we phrase our complaints, perhaps because most of us feel rushed and we kid ourselves we are discussing purely technical matters? I need to keep reminding myself that there is an underlying/social purpose to my work.
