It's the same behaviour of ordinary users, in general. A developer who uses your library is, basically, a user. They see your work as an obligation, not as a gift you are giving to everyone.
- Groxx 8y agoI was going to say the same thing. Free users are famously bad users in general, and open source stuff is often free too.
