That does explain some of the servicing offers we get from local car dealers.
- Spooky23 8y agoThat's Carfax. Most repair shops sell their records as well. The dealers know your mileage from JiffyLube/etc. I've been told that if you self-maintain, you'll have a hard time getting a trade-in as dealers expect to get service history.
