  That's right and I don't see anyone claiming that they do. Food stamps are an in-between solution which are neither direct distribution of commodities nor cash. You seem to prefer we move towards more direct distribution; I prefer to move towards cash. Differences of opinion like this are why we have a democratic/representative process to end up deciding.
