I agree that you'd probably want to reduce the number of tasks. 5-6 would be fine. As someone who does a bit of JS as well as maybe 10-20 other skills I'd be happy doing most of these, but I would need to be able to look up the syntax for a bit of this stuff. I think having a small number of tasks and then talking around is better than having a prescriptive pass/fail. Almost anyone could work this kind of stuff out with the internet and Stackoverflow but would that make them a good fit for your role?
