Does anyone else have about a 40% success rate on clicking Twitter links? Maybe I'm rate-limited because I don't have an account, but the level of reliability I see clicking a few links a day isn't exactly compelling.
- jwilk 8y agoWhat do you mean by "success rate on clicking Twitter links"?
- jakobegger 8y agoLinks to twitter often show an error message instead of the tweet.
- jakobegger 8y agoLinks from HN seem to be broken generally. Clicking refresh works for me.
- iforgotpassword 8y agoI'm getting "twitter takes too long to load" instead of the tweet half the time on mobile. Then I have to refresh to see the tweet. My browser has to load 90 JavaScript files totaling in 20 gigabytes to display a 140 character string and fails along the way. And all the engineering brains at twitter couldn't make it so that it would just try again on its own. It's like they're trying to convince people to stay away from the platform.
