Right, but vpp tries to solve, at least part of this, by implementing many of the user space protocols. The only concern I have is I don't know how Cisco plans to monetize it, or why they're paying people to work on it. It seems very anti-cisco.
- wmf 8y agoVPP is ~15 years old and Cisco already monetized it in their own products.
