Tried to read but the site is hot garbage on mobile.
- homero 8y agoYeah all I got was an email form
- walshemj 8y agoYep put the domain on my ignore list
- cambalache 8y agoHot garbage in desktop too
- petronic 8y agoOn iOS the “Unobstruct” app ($0.99 - no connection to me) removes the popover nicely. It’s also great for removing dickbars that block a horizontal slice of the page.
- chatmasta 8y agoYep, absolutely horrendous and totally unreadable on iOS safari. First a modal pops up with the “no thanks” beyond the fold (and weird scrolling behavior). Once I finally figure out how to close it, I’m at the bottom of the page. If I scroll up, I see the first few sentences and then an email form. No thanks.
- ghettoimp 8y agoEven on Desktop, "No thanks", then "No thanks" again before even getting to article. Hit back without reading.
- rhizome 8y agoFunny that the site is from a VC firm. Maybe their business judgement ain't so hot? Or their funds aren't doing well so now they have to resort to begging for emails?
- MartijnHoutman 8y agoOn mobile, use your browser’s reader mode to avoid those nasty popup overlays.
