I imagine 10 engineers that worked out antialiasing at Apple are handsomely compensated for their suffering.
I hook my mac to a cheap ultrawide. Will Apple give me 1k eur to get a new monitor with 4x pixel density so I can continue using my computer that I got from them only a few months ago or will my mac become obsolete? This is unworkable.
- thirdsun 8y agoYou sound very dramatic. You know, you could just not update the OS if it's that important to you. As someone with a non-retina iMac I'm also affected, but I understand that non-retina displays are a niche category these days. Thinking about it, I guess the Macbook Air is the only computer Apple is selling that doesn't use a retina display.
