I lived in Windsor. Fortunately Concorde didn't fly over our school very often (once a day?), but when it did our teacher would have to stop talking and we would all sit and wait for the noise to die down. It really was that loud. It was beautiful and I'd have liked to have flown in it, but I don't miss the noise.
