Am I understanding correctly that in the tests not the actual prototype will fly, but rather F/A-18s that somehow mimic the wave patterns generated by the X-59?
How does that work?
- thornjm 8y agoComplete guess but they might use multiple F/A-18s, each with their own boom in a specific formation, to mimic the non-combining booms of the X-59?
