Some big mainstream brands such as Volvo and Audi have introduced touch screen based UX. You need to use the screen even to operate HVAC. Range Rover Velar even has a touch screen in the steering wheel which changes according to the context. But I do hope the manufacturers do realise that having touch screens only is incorrect and physical controls which can be operated by muscle memory are safer.
