I'm not sure you're going to get anywhere with blogging if you're only willing to expend minimal effort on it. It's like anything else. Some bloggers say that everyone should blog, and exhort them to do so. The truth is not everyone needs to blog, just like not everyone needs to run marathons or excel at cooking. I do find having a "best of" collection of your HN contributions valuable. But that's not blogging.
