For example: Queueing multiple conversions as jobs Faster processing than you'd do on your crappy box Renaming columns with a user-friendly interface Solving some of the hassle with character encodings (I've had some trouble with ESRI shapefiles on that front) Mapping to a user-defined model (e.g. specified with an XSD) But the way it looks right now, he doesn't even offer a PostGIS SQL target, which is a real pity.
