Con artists are fleecing Uber drivers
- nucleardog 8y agotl;dr - Don't give your password out to people that ask for it, otherwise people can do things with your account that you don't want them to do. There is no novel technical vulnerability... Just another case of people being convinced to give up their passwords over the phone.
- djrogers 8y agoSo if I get a phone call asking for my account info, password, AND 2-factor code, I should decline? What a shocker... Of course I feel for these people, but how is this any different than any of the thousands of other scams that follow nearly the same script??
