- mortenjorck 8y agoI’m always a little amused and disappointed when I read a really enjoyable long-form piece, with a lot of local color and literary detail, and some of the top comments on HN are to the effect of “the author kept meandering for most of it and didn’t get to the point until the end.” It’s as if reading is only a delivery method for information, and never something to be enjoyed on its own.
