Tautology? There is a very small chance that something with a very small chance of happening happened...
- inimino 8y agoThe intended meaning was that there's a small chance of something unlikely happening quickly. If it happened "quickly" (in geologic time) once conditions were favorable, that is evidence against it being enormously unlikely once those conditions obtained.
