For the bath, couldn't you add a sensor that detects water level in the bath and use it to override the lights? Even something as simple as measuring the weight

For the bath, couldn't you add a sensor that detects water level in the bath and use it to override the lights? Even something as simple as measuring the weight of the tub would work, and would simultaneously cover the shower cases too.
- roryisok 8y agoMeasuring the weight of the tub doesn't sound simple. A camera or ultrasonic level meter would be easier to set up
- kungtotte 8y agoSimple and easy aren't the same thing :)
- icebraining 8y agoUltrasonic distance sensors are pretty simple, though.
- stevekemp 8y agoVisitors might be alarmed to see a camera pointing at the bath!
