A gesture helper should only take care of interpreting "pointer(s)" movements.
The UI logic that takes care of actually dragging elements underneath when a "pan" gesture is detected, is implemented in the ViewPager.
Infact, if you look at the view_pager.js source code, you'll notice that it is using the gesture_helper to do its job.

- dcbadacd 8y agoScrolling between those slides a bit and my laptop fans spun up, they rarely do so unless under heavy load. Not looking forward this being adopted elsewhere when it requires so much computing power to just be smooth.
- zuix 8y agoSo, which one would you suggest? Did you run any performance comparison?
