I've heard this happening in Singapore: the job market is so strong that you get people signing a contract and never showing up. I really wonder if they understand how mega-connected everyone is in this day and age, and how easily the burned entrepreneur can broadcast their name in their social network and make them radioactive to ... her friends, who are likely potential employers.
- jiveturkey 8y agoI can't understand why you are downvoted, except maybe that your argument is as self-contradictory as TFA. which is it, the job market is so strong that candidates have all the cards, or the job market is tight and candidates can't afford to burn leads and get easily blacklisted? btw, can you comment on singapore's privacy laws? such broadcasting would be illegal in eu.
