Yes, I have shipped 3 applications already using serverless (https://serverless.com/ https://serverless.com/) and AWS Lambda + API GW. All applications are in production for few months now.
The applications:
- creating snapshots of EBS volumes
- disabling users in IAM
- handling HTTP form submit for email list subscription
