- gigatexal 8y agoYes from the US. Hell yes. Though the language is a must learn as it is a lot easier if you know it or have friends that can help you while you are learning.
- gigatexal 8y agoAlso: It’s been good for us. We sold one of our homes. Paid off all our credit card debt. We rent a reasonably priced flat (100^2 meters/1350 Europe all inclusive, unfurnished though) and the commute to work is less than half what it was stateside. Not to mention the flat is nicer than the home we lived in stateside. There are quirks for sure about Germans and German culture. But overall we love it here. Also I think even with the high taxes my social health coverage is better than the one I was paying for partially with my employer in the states working at a health care company!
- croshan 8y agoThat's incredible! I've been considering moving there after working in the states for a few years. Glad to hear things are going well for you :)
