Hm, one of the tweets mentions a "3 year contract". A contract means two parties agree to something, with penalties if they don't do what they agree to, right?

Hm, one of the tweets mentions a "3 year contract". A contract means two parties agree to something, with penalties if they don't do what they agree to, right? Couldn't they sue Smyte/Twitter or something?
- sbr464 8y agoUsually there are terms on acquisitions deeply nested in contracts.
- glangdale 8y agoUsually those terms involve "keeping the lights on". I imagine Twitter will just pay people off, which eases a lot of pain.
- Endy 8y agoThat depends on how the contracts are written and whether Smyte continue as a company on its own or just as a software product of Twitter.
