  > Ok, so the ones with jobs should pay for those without a job? Yes. And if by some miracle we can help people get jobs, by making transportation cheaper then we call it a win-win. Note, even if public transit was free that wouldn't make everybody use it all the time. But it might reduce the number of cars on the road, and help a few people out of poverty.
