In matters of all things that is technology, I am totally beginner. And when I am totally beginner, I have no way to decide which one is good tutorial. This had actually happened to me. I learned a lot of wrong stuffs and that is not the bad part. The bad part is that I realized my mistakes way too late and often in painful ways. First lessons are the lessons which usually stick with you for a long time. It shapes your take and mindset about technology. For example, to learn C, I picked a book 'Let us C' and some blogs written.by novices. At that time I knew nothing about either C or this book. Much later I realized that book is utter garbage. This affected me badly. I had to relearn C and even now I can see I still think in C in the ways that crappy book taught me.
