People that think of themselves as 10x developers are the ones that do that and will slow down everybody else. Really productive developers help others and speed up all the company. I have worked with some people that one can call "10x developers", even that I don't agree with the term. They were good, they were friendly and willing to help the business and their fellow developers. And they ask for permission and share their ideas with everybody. Their product owner was also amazing and they had a great synergy. Back then I was a manager. And my job was to make sure that things did not change.
