I agree with you for the most part about privacy. But I want to balance that right to privacy against the additional 'powers' you get when using a company to conduct business. We imbue companies with a lot of benefits depending on their form like limited liability, different taxation arrangements and we should be able to identify the principals of those companies publicly.
