I'm struggling to see how this is relevant to Hacker News. Yeah, I see the upvote rate on the article and I know who SUPERSTAR Rajni is, but still?

  I agree, but once, someone flagged an article about SUPERSTAR Rajinikanth on HN, and the article moved even further up the front page.
