Net neutrality regulations were not created in the US until 2014. It is ignorant to think these stopped companies before 2014.

Companies started questioning the authority which resulted in new laws needing to be made. Saying the law is recent, unneeded, etc has been mentioned and refuted many times in previous discussions.
- hristov 8y agoThat is not true. The FCC was enforcing net neutrality as an administrative rule long before that.
