Depends on the 386. I had a 386sx-16 4MB of RAM and a SoundBlaster, and it worked WITH sound... in a postage stamp at low resolution.
However a friends AMD 386DX-40 ran it fine, well 'fine' until I saw it on a Pentium 60.
