- tspike 8y agoSystematic separation of children from parents as a matter of policy does ring some alarm bells.
- EliRivers 8y agoThe words being used as well. I recall that in the preparation for the Rwandan genocide, the victim group was likened to vermin to dehumanise them (cockroaches, if I recall).

- Grue3 8y agoJust shows that Mike Godwin isn't immune to his own law either. Everyone's bound to make a dumb Nazi comparison at one point or another.
- Doxin 8y agoIs it really a dumb comparison when it involves literal concentration camps?
- Grue3 8y agoSoviet Union also had concentration camps, Nazis don't have a monopoly on them.
- dragonwriter 8y agoSo did the US, including at the same time the Nazis did, but also regularly, for a number of different populations, starting nearly a century before there was a Nazi Party.
- Doxin 8y agoRight, so there's a lot of horrific comparisons you could make. That doesn't mean the nazi comparison is invalid.
