In addition to the other replies already, I'd like to point out that this spiel has practically swayed me in the opposite direction to clicking those links and I don't feel any more educated than I was yesterday. I'd be interested to know if this type of advertising works on anyone - it just doesn't seem like an effective strategy at all.
