If we're going to be political about gender, shouldn't we be political about the invasion and oppression of the native people by Europeans and Latin culture?
- rainbowmverse 8y agoAbsolutely. Intersectionality is very important for any social justice effort. Most native social justice advocates I see are also LGBTQ+ advocates. Not as much the other way around, but I do see it.
- frockington 8y agoWhy not be political about none of it? Is making a word more politically correct really going to have any significant change other than a few high fives at a liberal arts college?
