Yes, we update these based on the CLDR by Unicode (more info available here: http://cldr.unicode.org/ http://cldr.unicode.org/). They can be a little slow to update recent currency changes, so we will often add in more recent changes if we are made aware of them (usually someone will just open an issue on github)
