The comment I was responding to specifically mentioned the dash-cam video, which I hope we can all agree would not be representative of what the operator could see. Nor would any of the on-board sensors be relevant. I suppose they might provide enough information to do a re-enactment. At no point did I suggest that this would be an excuse to absolve Uber of any responsibility.
